HISTORY

The Fostering Arts-Mind Education Foundation was conceived and implemented in February, 2000 by Enrique C. Feldman and executive committee members Dr. Willie Hill, Dr. David Woods, and Dr. Rosella Wallace.

This non-profit education organization was created as a vehicle for integrating proven empowerment techniques in the classroom. These techniques are a cross section of fundamentals from the educational, medical, holistic, scientific, and business arenas.

The Foundation has established a proven track record based on statistically valid outcomes. Our Early Childhood Partnerships have produced some of the most impressive outcomes in the history of early childhood education.

Our previous projects include the Early Childhood Partnership, produced in cooperation with two Head Start programs in Central Ohio, the PPEP Musiclink Charter School Partnership, and the Musiclink Scholarship Program.

From these programs, we developed a STATISTICALLY VALID comparison between 3 – 5 year old children trained with our techniques versus a national cross section of 3 – 5 year old children not trained with our techniques. Larger percentages of the Fostering Arts-Mind Education Foundation children ended up in the advanced learning category. Both groups used the same assessment tool.

Accordingly, although the Foundation is a new entity, the results we have achieved have enabled us to receive funding from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Arizona Commission on the Arts.
